1. Cleanse the skin at each electrode site with alcohol.
2. Dry shave sites, if needed.
3. Snap wires to electrodes.
4. Position electrodes firmly on bone.
5. Apply foam strips over each wire (do not place over snap).
6. Label cassette with patient’s name, start time and date.
7. Insert battery, close head bar cover, making sure you hear 2 clicks.
8. Position recorder on patient.
9. Instruct patient to complete activity log.
