Best Program for Learning How to Interpret Vascular Ultrasound

500 VASCULAR ULTRASOUND CASES – FOR ONSITE GROUPS ONLY

Upcoming CoursesContact Us

NAVIX’s 500 Vascular Ultrasound Case Preceptorship is designed to train physicians in the interpretation of vascular testing modalities including cerebrovascular, extremity arterial, extremity venous and visceral vascular.

NAVIX’s 500 Vascular Ultrasound Case Preceptorship is only available to group onsite delivery. We will provide this program for a group at their location or designated facilities. This program is delivered by recognized experts in vascular ultrasound to physicians interested in expanding their case exposure or preparing for APCA’s Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) credential.

Participants will expand or enhance their knowledge of vascular ultrasound in a collaborative learning environment that combines didactic lectures with mentored cases in a small group setting. This program provides up to 500 vascular ultrasound cases presenting diverse vascular pathologies in specific testing modalities including:

  • Carotid duplex ultrasound
  • Transcranial Doppler
  • Peripheral arterial physiologic testing
  • Peripheral arterial duplex ultrasound
  • Venous duplex ultrasound
  • Visceral vascular duplex ultrasound

NAVIX’s Preceptorship in Vascular Ultrasound Interpretation is more than an RPVI review course. With a deep domain expertise in noninvasive vascular testing, our faculty provides comprehensive instruction that prepares physicians to read vascular cases in a clinical setting. NAVIX’s vascular course has an excellent pass rate for physicians who have attended NAVIX’s Preceptorship and took the RPVI exam.

Many fellowships and group practices have chosen NAVIX’s Vascular Ultrasound Interpretation Preceptorship to provide their physicians with the didactic instruction, hands-on interpretation, and preparation they need for reading vascular cases and obtaining their RPVI credential.

If you are applying to taking the APCA 100 Case Pathway for RPVI Credentialing, Navix will provide a letter of completion and will maintain your case log. As the sponsoring organization, we ensure the criteria required for the APCA 100 Case Pathway for RPVI Credentialing are met.

NAVIX's Vascular Ultrasound Interpretation course was amazing! The sessions were very well structured and Tish did a great job delivering the required knowledge across a group of physicians with different interests and backgrounds. I feel much more comfortable and confident with taking the RPVI exam as well as interpreting vascular studies in my clinical practice. I would highly recommend this course for any physician with interest in vascular ultrasound.
Ahmed S Ahmed, MD

Cardiology Fellow, Hershey Medical Center

I did want to take the time to specifically credit Dr. Rodriguez-Wong for doing such an amazing job in teaching in this course. She is a wonderful asset to your program as she is very knowledgeable on all aspects of the subject matter and takes the time to provide excellent didactic lectures. I will definitely recommend this course to other fellows and colleagues that are interested in learning vascular ultrasound and taking the RPVI boards in the future.

Dr. Amrish Malhi

Interventional Cardiology Fellow, Lenox Hill Hospital

I really appreciated the clarity of the instructor. The didactic portion was excellent and I would definitely recommend this course.

Dr. Ramesh Gowda

Director of Endovascular Interventions, Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital

Best course! I don’t think I have ever had a more dedicated teacher than Angela. Her encyclopedic knowledge of vascular ultrasound and passion greatly impacted my learning.
George Welch, MD

Tish is a spectacular teacher and has great integrity that she combines with her passion for the art and science of ultrasound technology. Taking a course from her felt like taking a golf lesson from Jack Nicklaus.
